Hooray for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for suggesting that Congress rescind its last pay hike. Wouldn’t that help the deficit a bit? And it just might restore the faith in the American people in their Congress, just maybe. Pay raises are given for “good performance.” Need I say more?
