Off-peak parking times at the Burlington Northern/Lisle train station have been changed due to enforcement problems.
Village manager Carl Doerr told board members that individuals attempting to catch the last express train, which leaves Lisle at 8:01 a.m., have been obtaining off-peak parking permits and taking parking spaces from those who buy quarterly parking permits.
Under the amended ordinance, daily parking envelopes will not be available until 8:15 a.m. for the same day.
