Madeleine Anderson, 82, a retired registered nurse, died Wednesday in Thorek Hospital. She was a native of Lemoine, Maine, and a resident of the Lake View neighborhood. Miss Anderson received her nursing degree from Massachusetts General Hospital. She served as a surgical nurse and assisted in pioneering ophthalmic procedures. She also was executive secretary of the Eye Rehabilitation and Research Foundation. There are no immediate survivors. Services will be in Brockton, Mass.
