EXEC NOT LEAVING, GM SAYS

Purchasing manager Ignacio Lopez de Arriortua is not leaving General Motors, despite reports in Der Spiegel, a German newsmagazine, and the Frankfurter Allegemeine newspaper, that Volkswagen is about to hire the Spanish-born Lopez to head purchasing operations.
