Isn’t it swell that people in plush, climate-controlled workplaces are proposing that Chicago teachers add four hot summer weeks and 30 minutes per day to their work schedules with no additional pay (“Shared sacrifice won’t be easy in city schools,” Feb. 4)?
One needn’t be an “A” student to see very clearly what is wrong with this picture.
