Lest we “grays” forget, the Social Security we get, in most cases, is more than we ever contributed, including the compound interest we earned. We get Medicare towards which we contribute a pittance. We get CTA discounts, hotel discounts and many other discounts here and there. And, yes, many of us went to college on the GI Bill of Rights.
Let the upper-income “grays” not be greedy when asked to give a little to help get this country back on a sound economic basis.
