James E. Crawford, 64, a retired Chicago firefighter, died Saturday in Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox, Ind. Mr. Crawford served on the Chicago Fire Department for 33 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include two daughters, Terry Reese and Judy Anderson; his father, Lawrence; two grandsons; and a brother. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Braman Funeral Home, 108 S. Main St., Knox.
