The horror stories I’ve been reading in the paper and seeing on TV truly make me believe a change is due regarding our young. Tell me, what else do they see except violence on TV-even in the cartoons? To these children, the bad guys are the heroes.
Little 6- and 7-year-old kids taking a gun to school? Two 12-year-old boys in England kidnapping a 2-year-old boy and murdering him? I watched an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie one night and couldn’t believe the violence I was watching.
It’s darned near time someone puts a stop to this garbage-that’s all it is. It’s too much of an influence on these kids. Our teachers have no rights anymore as far as discipline goes, and so many parents allow entirely too much freedom. They get too much. Everything they do they want to be paid for.
All kindness and respect is gone. What a sorrowful plight! And what a future for our country.
