At the risk of appearing sensitive, politically correct and non-sexist, I must say that Jim Stratz’s letter (Feb. 17) voicing his disapproval of Cyndi Smith’s letter (Jan. 30), which voiced her disapproval of “gentlemen’s clubs,” appears to verge on the hysterical. Such an emotional outburst over a non-issue such as this is usually the symptom of a deeper emotional problem.

Is it possible that, in his support of such establishments, Mr. Stratz is vocalizing his deep-seated jealousy and envy that he does not possess the physical attributes necessary to encourage women to dance in a bikini free of charge? Please, Mr. Stratz, get a personality!
