Guy Davis, 89, an advertising executive for more than 50 years, died Monday in Northwest Continuing Care Center in Arlington Heights. Mr. Davis first joined the advertising agency of Beaumont & Hohmann in Kansas City, Mo., in 1934. He later transferred to its Chicago office and became a senior vice president. In 1958, he founded the agency of Davis, Kirby & Gray, which developed advertising for Dale Carnegie and Consolidated Paper. Survivors include his wife, Edith; a daughter, Janet Gunzelman; a son, Guy T.; three grandchildren; and two sisters. A memorial service is pending.
