Fred A. Pecchia, 82, a former union officer, died Saturday in La Grange Community Hospital, La Grange. Mr. Pecchia was a founding member and secretary-treasurer of Local 713 International Brotherhood of Teamsters for 38 years before he retired in 1973. He is survived by a daughter, Fredene Biagi, and a grandson. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 2325 W. 24th Pl.
