Three men have been sentenced for attacking a 28-year-old man Nov. 14 outside a tavern. Andrew Diaz, 21, of Zion, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated battery and was sentenced to 2 years probation and 200 hours public service, and ordered to pay the victim $350. John Longoria, 24, of Waukegan, and Kenneth Tober, 24, of Kenosha, each pleaded guilty to one count of mob action. Longoria was sentenced to 1 year conditional discharge, and ordered to pay the victim $100. Tober was sentenced to 2 years probation and 200 hours public service and also was ordered to pay the victim $100. The three men attacked the man with a beer bottle outside Murphy’s Tavern at Wadsworth Road and Lewis Avenue.
