What an absolute lift I got out of John McCarron’s March 7 column about Dr. Jack Kevorkian (” `Dr. Death’ makes issues come to life”).
To me, this man is a giant and deserves to be put on a pedestal, not treated like some kind of criminal. It turns one’s stomach to witness the power and influence these right-to-life do-gooders seem to have.
Thank God for people like McCarron with vision, insight and the “guts” to tell it like it is.
I am an 82-year-old who has been lucky to have enjoyed good health all of my life, and I’ve taken every legal step to put an end to my misery if and when the time comes.
