The Veterans Administration medical care system and veterans’ benefit program that was established by Congress in 1930 has suffered catastrophic erosion since the 12 years of the Reagan/Bush administrations. If the trend continues, the VA could become a nonexistent government agency, to the detriment of America and its veterans.
The bureaucrats, sitting in their ivory towers in Washington, would have us believe that America’s wars are over, and that the VA medical system/veterans benefits, along with the veterans, are obsolete war material and should now be sent to the scrap pile. We must challenge those assumptions.
American service men and women are only a presidential penstroke away from fighting and dying in another foreign war, in a country that was once Yugoslavia. Dictators around the world are working feverishly on nuclear weapons of destruction that could be used against America without warning.
Veterans, let Washington know your views.
