After reading your series “Unlocking the Mind,” I think I now understand the mind of President Clinton. When he speaks (using the right, feeling side of his brain) we get idealistic rhetoric: “Let’s help those Haitians, and not raise taxes on the middle class”!

But later, when he acts (using the left, rational side of his brain) we get practical politics: “Forget the Haitians and, on second thought, let’s raise taxes!” We should never confuse what he says with what he will do.
