Here they are, those kiddie cruises and wacky cruises for the young at heart. There are cruises to party on, smooch on and play pirate on.
Wagner Charter Co. cruises depart from Wacker Drive at Wells Street, lower level. Reservations required at 708-653-8690 for the Prom and Pirate Cruises, at 312-784-7708 for the Pow Wow Cruise.
Prom Cruises include a buffet, soft drinks (no alcohol), deejay and dancing. Excursions are 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays through June 4. Fee: $55-$65 per couple.
Pirate Cruises include a swashbuckling pirate crew dressed for the part. Each child gets a souvenir pirate cap. Excursions are 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays. Fee: $15, $7 children under 12 years.
Pow Wow Cruise hosted by the American Indian Center enable children and adults to learn about traditional Indian dances and how the waterways were used by the Indians. Buffalo burgers and traditional Indian fry bread are served with soft drinks. Excursion is 1 to 4 p.m. May 15. Fee: $15, $5 children under 12 years.
Mercury, Chicago’s Skyline Cruiseline departs from the lower level of Wacker Drive at the southwest corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge.
Supernatural Cruises include narration from ghosthunter Richard Crowe. Despite six years of trying, Crowe has yet to find a ghost-but he’s determined. Excursions are 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. July 10, 17, 24, 31. Fee: $16. For tickets, call 708-499-0300.

Ninth Annual Great Lakes Whale Watch is hosted by the maritime folk group Privateer. They’re still searching for whales on the lake. The ride includes a Spotter’s Guide, cold cuts, soft drinks and a free T-shirt. The excursion departs at 6:30 p.m. June 26 from Burnham Harbor, Lake Shore and McFetridge Drives. Fee: $60. Kincade’s Brew Cruises, a floating singles bar, will have a departure at 8 p.m. July 3 to view fireworks and includes a buffet, an open bar and on-board deejay for $60. At 8 p.m. Aug. 14, the Venetian Night ride includes soft drinks, a buffet and on-board deejay for $35. Both cruises leave from North Pier Terminal, 465 E.
