Amanda Wallace pleaded innocent Monday to a first-degree murder charge in the death of her 3-year-old son, Joseph.
Wallace, 27, appeared before Cook County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bolan, where her attorney, Jimmy Jones, entered her plea.
Wallace, who has a history of mental problems, is accused of hanging her son in April.
