Joseph C. Stastny, 87, a lawyer in Chicago for 55 years, died Tuesday in a Tampa hospital. Born in Chicago, he served in the city corporation counsel’s office before going into private practice. His offices were on LaSalle Street. Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Archer, Mary Jo Lorr and Katharine; three sisters; and a granddaughter. No services for Mr. Stastny are scheduled.
