Bethany Hospital’s chief surgeon has been missing for five days after he told family members he was on the way to the hospital on the West Side, about three miles from his home, to perform surgery, according to police and the hospital.
Donald Hoard, 49, of the 1500 block of West Polk Street, has not been heard from since last Tuesday, police said.
He was last seen driving his 1989 black Mercedes 420 SEL.
