Services for Edwin A. Matter, 83, formerly of Skokie, were held Wednesday in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mr. Matter, who died Tuesday in Largo, Fla., lived in Seminole and was retired as president of H.J. Doughty & Associates of Chicago, a manufacturer-distributor of sundry drugs. He is survived by two daughters, Judith Pendleton and Dorothy Pirovano; eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
