As part of a kickoff for the upcoming television season, WTTW-Ch. 11 will offer a Jacques Pepin National Marathon from 1:14 p.m. to 5:44 p.m. Saturday. Six 30-minute “Today’s Gourmet” shows will run back to back, featuring Pepin as he cooks Provencal dishes, cafe food, New England cuisine, personal favorites, old classics and nouvelle cuisine. Recipes from the shows can be found in Pepin’s “Today’s Gourmet” and “Today’s Gourmet II” cookbooks.
Pepin is one of the nation’s foremost cooking teachers.
