John Jaha hit a tiebreaking solo homer in the 10th inning, and Cal Eldred pitched a six-hitter as Milwaukee stopped a four-game losing streak.

Greg Vaughn added a three-run homer off Joe Grahe as Milwaukee broke open the game in the 10th.

Jaha’s one-out homer was his 10th this season and the first off Steve Frey (2-3) in 47 1/3 innings since Aug. 18, 1992. Darryl Hamilton’s RBI double chased Frey, and Vaughn hit his 26th home run of the year.

Eldred (13-12) struck out nine and walked two in the longest outing of his big-league career. He took a two-hitter and a 2-1 lead into the seventh, but Greg Myers tied the score with a bloop RBI single.
