The story “Now that the chords are struck, women may lead the bank in ’94” did not cause me to look forward to great music in the future if women run the state.

Carol Moseley-Braun’s conduct both before and after taking office is not the least bit encouraging. Oh, yes, I know she is in Washington and won’t be in Springfield. So what? Because the winners might be women, we can’t expect saintly conduct. They are only human and just as capable of improper behavior and bad financial maneuvers as white males.
