Clara A. DeThorne, 86, of Waukegan, died Thursday in Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan. She was born in Wilmette and lived in Waukegan for the past 50 years. She was a volunteer at the Waukegan Public Library. She is survived by two sons, Richard and Daniel; a daughter, Joanne; a brother; a sister; and 15 grandchildren. Services were held Saturday in Waukegan.
