Gust Nelson, 98, of Spread Eagle, Wis., died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mich. He was the founder of G.O. Nelson & Sons Contracting of Chicago and a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Minnie; three sons, Robert, George and Philip; a daughter, Janet Johnson; a sister; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday.
