Joseph E. Marcus, 82, a pioneer in the paper recycling business, died Sunday in his home in Boca Raton, Fla. Mr. Marcus worked for the federal government and later he became a partner in National Fiber Supply Co., a Chicago firm. He retired in 1987. Mr. Marcus was past president of the Paper Stock Insitute of America. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; a daughter Cindy Alpert; a brother; two sisters; and two grandchildren. Services were held Monday.
