Peter E. Hess, 87, a retired portrait photographer, died Thursday in Ravenswood Hospital. Mr. Hess operated the Peter Allen Studio at Wilson Avenue and Sheridan Road for many years. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; a son, Peter; two daughters, Barbara Larson and Ruth Ann Musgrave; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
