Steven McNamee, 36, of Chicago, a Chicago Fire Department trainee, died Wednesday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital after a training accident at the Fire Academy. Before entering the academy, Mr. McNamee was a Hickory Hills police officer. He is survived by his wife, Maryrose; a daughter, Anne; a son, Steven Jr.; his parents; and seven sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Modell Funeral Home, 5725 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2825 W. 83rd St.
