Lois Gordon, 58, a former sign language instructor, died Friday in her Des Plaines home. Mrs. Gordon taught sign language at the Center on Deafness in Northbrook and at the Congregation Bene Shalom of the Deaf in Skokie. For the past 23 years she was a word processor at Washington National Insurance Co. She is survived by her husband, Bernard; two sons, Alan and David; her father, Max Adler; a sister; and a brother. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Congregation Bene Shalom, 4435 W. Oakton Ave., Skokie.
