Shirley William Bostwick, 74, a retired naval officer, died Friday in Elmhurst Hospital. Mr. Bostwick, of Berkeley, a chief warrant officer in the U.S. Navy, retired after 22 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two brothers, Ervin and Gerald; and a sister, Elaine Kosmala. Visitation will be from 1 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in Hennessy-Bruno Funeral Home, 5903 Burr Oak Ave., in Berkeley. Services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday in Berkeley Hillside Presbyterian Church, Taft and Ridge Avenues.
