Officials with Community Consolidated School District 15 have assembled a special task force to provide advice and direction as the district begins the final phase of its construction and renovation program.

Before meeting with design teams from Barrington-based Ruck/Pate Architecture, Supt. John G. Conyers plans to review recently completed engineering, site and demographic studies with the task force involving parents and staff members from Central Road and Willow Bend Schools.

“I’ve always counted on entrusting the community to tackle issues before the board,” said Conyers.

The task force will discuss topics ranging from local demographics to engineering and construction issues before winter break, and will present suggestions to Conyers at that time.
