The Packers and Lions moved to the front of the NFC Central Division with wins Sunday to reach records of 8-5, but the Packers have the edge in tiebreakers and schedule the rest of the way.
The Packers have defeated the Lions head-to-head, the first tiebreaker. The teams meet in the season finale Jan. 2 in Pontiac, Mich. In the second tiebreaker, division record, the Packers are 4-2 and the Lions are only 2-4.
Next week, the Packers play the Vikings (6-7) in Milwaukee while the Lions host the 49ers.
The Vikings have the best division record (5-2), but are two games out. The Bears, 3-4 in the division, also would need help.
