A rose is a rose: To set the mood for Valentine’s Day, Pop’s for Champagne, 2934 N. Sheffield Ave., will preview a dozen rose sparkling wines at a tasting on Monday. Mondavi tribute: A five-course dinner will be Feb. 14 at the Four Seasons Hotel, 120 E. Delaware Pl., in honor of the 80th birthday of Robert Mondavi. The California winemaker will be present and his wines will be poured with food prepared by Four Seasons chef Mark Baker and Sanford D’Amato, chef/owner of Sanford restaurant in Milwaukee. Murphy-Goode: The winemaking duo of Tim Murphy and Dale Goode will present a selection of their Sonoma County, Calif., wines at the Dining Room restaurant of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 160 E.
