Catherine M. Carmichael, 77, retired owner and operator of the Shear Fashion Salon in Libertyville, died Thursday at home in Libertyville. She was born in Chicago and formerly lived in Palm Harbor, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Andrew; two daughters, Ellen Jennings and Catherine Dismer; a son, Philip; a brother; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave., Libertyville. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple Ave., Libertyville.
