A fire burned a 20-year-old elementary school Saturday morning, forcing officials to cancel school for students until Feb. 14.
Firefighters responded to an alarm call at 5:58 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Elementary School, 513 Parkside Circle, according to Police Cmdr. David Coffee. No injuries were reported.
