Ernest G. Colando, 69, a former hat manufacturer from Bloomingdale, died Saturday at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood. Mr. Colando owned Livorno Hat Co., which closed in 1978 after more than 60 years. He is surivived by his wife, Annette; three daughters, Judy Johnson, Linda Inzano and Lisa Martusciello; three sons, Gregory, Michael and Anthony; his mother, Mary Colando; and 17 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in Cumberland Chapel, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, North Avenue and Lathrop Street, River Forest.
