I read with interest the article “Abortion protesters hit legal roadblock (Jan. 25).” It talked about the tremendous victory for abortion rights groups now that they could invoke the RICO Act and sue anti-abortion protesters.

This, in turn, made me think about those who fought against slavery. Then I thought about all those good people who helped protect Jews from Hitler during the Holocaust where the lives of over 6 million Jews were terminated. We hear so much about that right now due to the popularity of Steven Spielberg’s movie “Schindler’s List.”

My thoughts then took me to those heroic people like Joseph Scheidler and his organization, Pro-Life Action League, also mentioned in the article. They protest the destruction of 30 million innocent unborn children since the 1973 Supreme Court decision allowing abortion on demand.

Even though I personally will not be here 40 years from now, I’m convinced that my children will one day stand in a line outside a movie theater waiting to see a movie depicting the sad and despicable time in our history when we (and our government) allowed the lives of unborn babies to be terminated.
