An April 11 trial date was set Monday for the murder trial of Tyrone Watson, 33, in the death of his daughter on March 7 in Zion.

Watson had been treated for depression for the last five months by the Illinois Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities in Chester. A report from the facility in December concluded that Watson was fit to stand trial.

Watson is alleged to have killed one daughter, LaToya Watson, 9; critically injured another daughter; injured his former wife; wounded two nephews; and raped a 10-year-old girl.
