Whether or not she wins Olympic gold, Nancy Kerrigan already has grabbed the golden ring. She has a $500,000 deal for the TV rights to her story and a package deal for a second network skating special, a children’s book, a video as well as commercials for and appearances at Disney World and Disneyland, reports this week’s People magazine. While her new deal with Disney does include the promise of parts in nonskating films, Kerrigan will not play herself in the authorized TV version of her life, to be produced by Steve Tisch for ABC. However, she will do the `double’ honors, performing the skating scenes for the actress.
