Robert S. Greenfield, 84, a retired attorney and insurance executive, died Saturday in White Hall North nursing home, Deerfield. Mr. Greenfield, a longtime Northbrook resident, was a pioneer in the use of insurance as a vehicle for funding pension plans. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Much and Lois Eisen; six grandchildren; and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Piser Weinstein Menorah Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd., Skokie.
