Highland Park: Tauja Catchings scored six of her 15 points in the third quarter and No. 1 Stevenson (29-0) held Mundelein scoreless the entire quarter in a 60-27 rout. Tamika Catchings’ triple-double led the winners as she tallied 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 steals. Mundelein finished 10-16. . . . Trailing 13-5 early in the second quarter, Warren was sparked by three three-pointers from Julie Minuskin (14 points) and led 17-16 at halftime en route to a 46-22 victory over Lake Forest.
Burlington Central: Karen Graveel’s jumper with :01 to play lifted St. Edward (14-13) over Wheaton St. Francis (15-10) for the regional title. Diane Kowall led St. Edward with 12 points. Graveel had four, all in the fourth quarter. Nora Sheehan and Jen Weigel each had 11 points for St. Francis.
