Austin Nelson, 81, of Chicago and the owner of a tool and dye company, died Wednesday at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Mr. Nelson was the owner of the Austin Nelson Company. As a jury foreman in 1959, Nelson helped convict Paul Ricca of tax evasion. Mr. Nelson is survived by two daughters, Nancy and Karen; one brother; one sister; and three grandchildren. Services will be Monday at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., Park Ridge.
