It is incredulous to think that the Tribune could go public and endorse Dan Rostenkowski and also think the Illinois voters in the 5th Congressional District could be tricked into voting for him because of his “long and impressive” record.
Rostenkowski is far from the positive role model needed in public office. His own “pork belly” gets bigger with his personal use of federal dollars.
Maybe the president should just concentrate on enjoying the kielbasa when he visits Chicago and admit that Rostenkowski is a loser.
