Donna Beukema, 83, a former nurse at Cook County Hospital, died Wednesday in her home in Interlochen, Mich. Born in Clinton, Iowa, Mrs. Beukema served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II and later worked as a nurse at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey and at Cook County Hospital. Since moving to Michigan, she worked at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. She is survived by a daughter, Molly Werner Lien; a brother; a sister; and two grandsons. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Interlochen Center for the Arts.
