Edwin A. Thompson, 72, a retired Chicago Tribune production supervisor, died Sunday at Elmhurst Hospital. Mr. Thompson, a longtime Addison resident, retired in 1982, after 35 years at the Tribune. He was also a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Norma; three daughters, Sally, Susan Senicka and Donna Stevenson; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison.
