Roy Binkley, 73, an architect who designed homes in Lake Forest and other North Shore communities, died Thursday in Lake Forest Hospital. Born in Chicago, he lived in Lake Bluff for the past 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Joan; a son, Peter; a daughter, Lisa Brunke; a sister; and seven grandchildren. Services will be private.
