Kimball Hill Homes has opened five decorated models at Wildspring, its condominium development in west suburban Itasca. Prices of the 138 townhouse-style condos range from $133,990 to $157,990.

The models include the first-floor ranch-style Dartmoor, with 1,180 square feet, two bedrooms, a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, a large bath, dining room, living room with volume ceiling, and kitchen with dining room. The base price is $133,990. Options include a second bath and a fireplace.

The two-story Turnberry has 1,305 square feet, two bedrooms, a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, two baths, a two-story living room, formal dining room and kitchen with breakfast nook. The base price is $139,990. Options include a fireplace.

The two-story Foxton is a 1,475-square-foot model that includes a master bedroom with walk-in closet and private bath, a second bedroom, a loft or third bedroom, two-story family room, formal dining room and kitchen with breakfast area. The base price is $148,990. A fireplace is optional.

The Foxton II, an expanded version of the Foxton, has 1,515 square feet that allows for a larger master bedroom. The base price is $157,990.

The Hartford is a second-floor ranch design with 1,550 square feet. It has a master bedroom with separate bath, dressing area and walk-in closet; one or two other bedrooms; living room with volume ceiling; dining room; a second bath; and kitchen with breakfast area. The base price is $145,990. Options include a living room fireplace.

Wildspring is on Thorndale Avenue just east of U.S. Route 53/355.

– The Millworks, a condominium project in Chicago’s Roscoe Village neighborhood, is holding its grand opening this weekend. The 36 one- and two-bedroom condos at 2011 W. Belmont Ave. feature European-style kitchens, whirlpooth baths, track lighting, woodburning fireplaces and sound insulation. A roof deck is available to residents.

The Millworks was designed by Roy Kruse & Associates and is being developed by Malisoff Enterprises. Beliard, Gordon & Partners is the listing agent.

The units range from 1,106 to 1,323 square feet and base prices are $119,900 to $152,900. One penthouse unit has 1,975 square feet, a loft, second bath and private roof deck. It is priced at $239,900.

– Pulte Home Corp. has opened a townhouse project in west suburban Lombard. The 83 two-story townhouses in the Club Croix development are in three designs, ranging in size from 1,179 to 1,700 square feet and in cost from $119,990 to $144,990.

Features include two or three bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths, vaulted ceilings, great rooms, breakfast nooks, walk-in closets and attached one- or two-car garages.

The Aruba, with 1,179 square feet, includes two bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths; master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet and separate dressing area; great room; kitchen with breakfast nook; and attached one-car garage. It is priced from $119,990.

Priced from $129,990, the Bimini has 1,367 square feet, including three bedrooms; 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths; master suite with vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet, dressing area and optional master bath; great room with optional fireplace; kitchen with breakfast nook and attached one-car garage.

The Cayman has 1,700 square feet, including a two-story foyer; three bedrooms; 2 1/2 baths; master suite with vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet and master bath; formal living and dining room; optional loft; kitchen with breakfast room; and attached two-car garage. It is priced from $144,990.

Club Croix is on Highland Avenue, one-half mile north of Interstate Highway 88 in Lombard.

– Four models and a sales office are open at Arrow Wood, a development of single-family homes being built in southwest suburban Aurora by Greater Midwestern Development Co. Arrow Wood is planned for 168 homes base-priced from $119,900 to $154,900.

The Birch model has 1,630 square feet, three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, formal living and dining rooms, a kitchen with breakfast nook and an attached two-car garage. It’s priced from $119,990. A fourth bedroom is optional.

The Mahogany has 1,350 square feet, three bedrooms, two baths, formal living and dining rooms, a kitchen with center work island and a breakfast nook and an attached two-car garage. It’s base-priced at $122,990. Options include a finished lower-level family room.

The Cottonwood has 1,600 square feet, three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, formal living and dining rooms, a family room and attached two-car garage. The base price is $123,990. Options include a fourth bedroom and a master suite with deluxe bath.

The Sequoia has 2,150 square feet, four bedrooms, living and dining rooms, a den, family room, kitchen with separate breakfast area and an attached two-car garage. It is priced from $144,990.

Arrow Wood is on the southeast corner of Indian Trail Road and Randall Road in Aurora.

– D.R. Horton Custom Homes has opened two decorated models at Pheasant Chase in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.

Six designs are available at Pheasant Chase, which is planned for 219 homes and a 10-acre park.

The models are from Horton’s Boulevard Series, which range in size from 1,623 to 2,419 square feet and are base-priced from the $130,000s to the $160,000s.

The Talcott is a two-story home with 1,623 square feet, two bedrooms and a loft. The Brentwood has 1,705 square feet and four bedrooms.

Pheasant Chase is on Weber Road, two miles north of Interstate Highway 55.

– Stonebrook, a Westfield Homes golf course development in north suburban Gurnee, has opened its second phase, consisting of the last 32 coach homes. They are priced from $119,900 to $134,900

The 200-acre community will include 68 coach homes, which are one-level units in multifamily buildings; 240 single-family homes and 154 townhouses when complete. The single-family homes and townhouses are nearing close-out, Westfield said.

Four coach home floor plans range from 1,290 to 1,700 square feet and include two first-floor and two second-floor designs. The homes include one to three bedrooms, two baths, living and dining rooms or great rooms with cathedral ceilings and fireplaces, eat-in kitchens, master bedrooms with walk-in closets and private baths and studies or lofts.

Standard features include fireplaces; fully applianced kitchens, wood decks or patios, central air conditioning and two-car attached garages.

The Coach Homes of Stonebrook is on Illinois Highway 132, one-half mile west of Hunt Club Road.

– Preconstruction sales are under way at Heritage Creek of Lincolnshire, where 12 homes were sold in the first month, according to the builder, Heritage Creek of Lincolnshire Inc., an affiliate of Corley Real Estate Corp.

Heritage Creek will have 80 townhouses and ranch-style units priced from $179,900 to $309,900. Five floor plans range from 1,445 to 2,470 square feet. The development will feature four private cul-de-sacs to eliminate drive-through traffic, the developer said.

Standard features include central air conditioning, ceramic tile foyers, sound-protected construction, baths with soaking tubs and separate showers and double-bowl vanities in the master baths. Fireplaces are included in the townhouses.

Options include fireplaces in the ranch-style units, skylights, intercoms, burglar and fire alarms, electric garage door openers and whirlpool tubs. Cabinet and plumbing fixture upgrades also are available.

Heritage Creek of Lincolnshire is on Illinois Highway 21 about one-quarter mile north of Old Half Day Road in north suburban Lincolnshire.

– Meadowalk, a project planned for 213 townhouses in southwest suburban Romeoville, has opened for preconstruction sales with base prices of $79,900 to $98,900.

Barry Jay Miller, president of Westmont-based 4M Development Corp., said his company is completing the development begun 20 years ago and is targeting first-time buyers.

Meadowalk offers seven new designs with the flexibility to enlarge rooms or add dens or bathrooms. Basements are available in some designs.

The seven designs range from 894 to 1,466 square feet, with two or three bedrooms, one to 2 1/2 baths and one- or two-car garages in one- and two-story designs.

Meadowalk is on Honey Tree Drive, five blocks north of Illinois Highway 53.

– The Claridge, a four-bedroom floor plan, has been introduced at Lakeview Estates in southwest suburban Oswego. The 1,942-square foot home, part of the development by Property Concepts Inc., has an introductory base price of $149,900.

The Claridge has three or four bedrooms plus sitting room. Other features include 2 1/2 baths, family room, breakfast room, first-floor utility room, vaulted and cathedral ceilings and oak railings.

Lakeview Estates offers five other single-family homes and two attached home designs, priced from $143,900 to $161,900.

Lakeview Estates is on Illinois Highway 71 about 1 1/2 miles southwest of U.S. Highway 34.
