Bertram G. Nelson, 81, a medical doctor and World War II veteran, died Saturday at his home in LaGrange Park. Dr. Nelson, who specialized in internal medicine, practiced 50 years, mostly in Oak Park. He was also on the staffs of Presbyterian-St. Luke’s and West Suburban Hospitals. He is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Nancy; and a granddaughter. A memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in First Congregational Church of LaGrange, 100 S. 6th Ave., LaGrange.
