President Clinton recently moaned that he is the most criticized president in history, but at least it’s while he’s in office. In “Quotables” (Op-Ed, June 20), Julius Epstein, winner of an Oscar for the screenplay of “Casablanca”, takes a retro poke at President Reagan by claiming “I still have nightmares” because Reagan was considered for Rick Blaine. But how much more interesting it would be if a president of the greatest power of modern times had played the part as well as he played that of the president.
