Mildred G. Recktenwald, 90, a longtime resident of La Grange Park, died Monday in Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines. Mrs. Recktenwald was a past officer in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Woman’s Club. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Haupert and Barbara Dittmar; a son William, a Tribune reporter; two sisters; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 40 S. Ashland Ave., La Grange. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., La Grange.
